I just love that word, it sounds so much better than just saying I am lazy. Fact being I am a world renowned procrastinator with lackadaisical tendencies at times. Millions of Americans put forth their cry for change back during the presidential election and boy are they starting to see it, but that's not what this post is about. I need change and have been lazy in taking the first step. My last post was right after the death of my mother-in-law and I haven't returned since, but I am BACK NOW!! To brighter and better days!!
I decided that with the starting of a new year this blog needed a fresh start, hence the new title. There are so many things I enjoy and want to learn, funny how most of my ideas are developed during my showers. There are new goals developing, new adventures arising and to whomever that reads my blog, if any I hope you enjoy the ride!! This will be a step by step process but I have to start somewhere.
First thing, well not quite sure how to put this but I am not where I need to be with my Heavenly Father. I acknowledge that now and need to do something about it. I need a relationship with Him that I don't have and know that He longs for me to spend time with Him. Second goal is to lead a healthier lifestyle, thirdly to simplify and be more organized. My house is still very disorganized and cluttered even though we have been in it now for two years. My sewing/guest bedroom is still a disaster from all the stuff that was my mom-in-law that we brought back from OK after the funeral. I was blessed to be given all her sewing and craft stuff that I look forward in this year being able to put to good use. People talk about their New Year's resolutions but I have decided that they will be my New Life Resolutions!!
. Pray more, read scripture daily and spend time with Him who gave His life for me!!
. Getting my house in order, organized all around.
. Planning out my garden, with hopes to not have to purchase much from the grocery store. We have been blessed with an abundance of land and I intend to use my time wisely in taking care of it.
. Finishing projects that I have started.
. Start new projects and finish them
. Focus becoming more proficient as a Dental Assistant.
Well there are so many more things that I want to do but this is a good start for now. I look forward to what this year has in store for me and my husband. What are your New Year's goals?

Hey, Yes I did get your comment. I am sure that the hummus problem is with me and not your recipe!!!!!!! Obviously, I need the tahini, and I agree that roasting the garlic will probably help! Thanks for the tips. I will probably give it another try after a while. I do love a good hummus! :-)
I am glad to see that you are blogging again. I need to do some of your New Life Resolutions too!
Hey, post some of your terrific recipes! I love to try new things.
Thanks for the blog update. Those are great New Life Resolutions. I like how you termed that! Hope things go well for you!
